With over thirty years of experience spanning three global financial services powerhouses managing corporate and crisis communications in India and other Asian markets, I bring deep expertise spanning external and internal communications as well as corporate philanthropy, including setting up a corporate Foundation in India.

This rich experience has given me an international perspective on some key issues of the moment, especially ESG communications around sustainable finance and investments, Just Transition and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. In my last role, I was responsible for organising the firm’s flagship, annual sustainability forum in Singapore for five years.

My career tracks the evolution of strategic public relations in India. In the industry’s nascent stage, I had the opportunity to work on the agency side, including a marquee creative agency revered for story-telling. It was during this time that I gained multi-sector experience and acquired an invaluable dual perspective – that of an agency as well as client.

To contribute to the profession and to learn from colleagues across the world, I volunteer with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) UK, where I am an Accredited Public Relations Practitioner. I am a Member of the CIPR’s international Committee and a Member of the CIPR ESG Expert Panel. Additionally, I am a Standing Member of the Commission on Public Relations Education’s (CPRE) research panel.
